5PL Logistics Solutions is a part of FoodCo Holding PJSC, earlier known as Abu Dhabi National Foodstuff Company. It was started as a public shareholding company under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

Formed in 2006 as a holding group, FoodCo Holding now comprises six subsidiary companies. They include FoodCo LLC (the FMCG arm), Sense Gourmet (the hospitality associate), Oasis Industrial (the packaging and manufacturing subsidiary), Dana Plaza (the retail destination), 5PL Logistics Solutions (the supply chain arm) and another real estate subsidiary providing property management services for third-party commercial and residential investors, all of which operate as standalone entities under the holding company.

The establishment of FoodCo Holding as a conglomerate resulted in greater decentralization. A Board of Directors was set up with responsibility for strategic oversight and governance of the entire group. Each company within the group became standalone entities with independent financials and management teams.

A strong financial backing, solid infrastructure, progressive approach and a dedicated team of around 500 employees has seen FoodCo Holding investing in various sectors, including real estate as well as private and public equities.

5PL Logistics Solutions was established in 2015 to cater to Abu Dhabi’s growing need for a holistic supply chain provider, offering end-to-end solutions to companies interested in expanding their activities into the emirate, as well as providing the services of an ‘Integrated Business Zone’.

We believe that our people and our facility, with 11,000 m2 of temperature-controlled storage ranging from -18ºC to 23ºC and plans to add an additional 35,000 m2 ranging from -22ºC to +24 ºC, are our biggest assets.
